RESCUE AND ADOPTION
Cat Rescued in Ormond Beach House Fire.
A fluffy kitty on Northbrook Drive had a meowgical morning on Thursday after a house fire sent things a little haywire!
Thankfully, our awesome Ormond Beach firefighters were on the purr-fect patrol and whisked the little furball out of the flames before things got too toasty.
Everyone, including the firefighters and the kitty's humans, are breathing a sigh of relief, and the cause of the fire is still a bit of a mystery.
But hey, the important thing is that everyone's safe and sound, and one brave kitty has a new story to tell (or meow about) at the next neighborhood catnip party!
FUNNY AND CUTE
Adorable Cat Begs For Christmas Picture Has the Internet in Laughter.
There's a new holiday hero in town, and his name is Loki!
This purrfectly festive feline has the internet smitten with his adorable Christmas spirit.
Loki loves getting dolled up in Santa hats and striking a pose for the camera.
A recent TikTok shows him proudly strutting up to his human with a mini Santa hat, basically begging for a photoshoot.
How could you resist that face? With over 1.3 million fans (and counting!), Loki happily delivered, sharing his adorable Christmas portraits as a follow-up.
Sure, he might be "the most chaotic cat on the internet," but Loki's infectious holiday cheer proves even naughty kitties can bring joy and laughter to the season.
TRENDING AND VIRAL
Slaughterhouse In Vietnam That Kills 300 Cats Per Month.
.
Thirty-seven-year-old Mr. Pham Quoc Doanh had run his cat meat restaurant and slaughterhouse for five years, horrifically drowning up to 300 cats per month to serve to customers a dish called ‘thịt mèo,’ meaning cat meat and ‘tiểu hổ’ or ‘little tiger.
Mr. Doanh's path to a new life leaves behind a million others still trapped in this brutal trade, stolen companions sacrificed for fleeting superstition.
While 71% of Vietnamese yearn for a ban, the industry thrives under weak laws. These 20 rescued souls are a fragile glimmer, begging for change.
The battle for compassion continues, demanding stronger laws and wider empathy to silence the echoes of suffering.
