RESCUE AND ADOPTION
Cat Found Buried in Trash
A heartwrenching incident unfolded in Stourbridge, West Midlands, when a helpless feline was discovered buried amidst a pile of rubbish in a bin. Thankfully, the RSPCA swiftly intervened, becoming the beacon of hope for this unfortunate creature.
Upon examination, veterinarians were confronted with a distressing sight - the cat was infested with fleas, severely anemic, shockingly emaciated, and dangerously dehydrated. The initial recommendation was to euthanize the poor soul, but the dedicated RSPCA staff valiantly rallied together, refusing to give up on him.
Miraculously, through their unwavering efforts, the cat has now embarked on a journey of recovery, nourishing his frail body with food and replenishing his depleted fluids. However, it is important to note that the path to his full recuperation is anticipated to be a costly one, as his ongoing care demands substantial resources. Full story here .

Eloise, a cat from West Columbia, Texas, miraculously survived being shot in the head with a bow and arrow.
Despite having the arrow lodged in her head for several days, Eloise was still walking around an apartment complex when she was found by residents. Animal welfare officers and a veterinarian were called to the scene, and Eloise was taken to a vet clinic.
X-rays revealed that the arrow had missed the bone portion of the skull, and the veterinarian was able to remove it safely. Eloise was given a new name, Miracle, to reflect her amazing survival story.
Miracle is still recovering from the trauma of the incident, but she is doing well. She is purring, eating, and ready to explore.
Local police are investigating the crime as animal cruelty and have offered a reward for any information on the shooter.
