RESCUE AND ADOPTION
A Cat Who was Dumped at Campsite has Found a Forever Home With a Kind Man

Yay! A cat who was dumped at a campsite has found a forever home with a kind man!

Chris Ward, a documentary filmmaker, was camping in rural Washington when he came across a skinny cat who was surviving on trash scraps. He could tell that the cat was anxious about being left behind, so he took her home with him.

Ward took the cat to the vet, where she was vaccinated and treated for any health problems. He also named her Rocky, after the river near the campsite where he found her.

Rocky is now adjusting to house life and getting better at not stealing food from the counters. She is very sweet and attached to her new family.

We are so happy that Rocky has found a loving home!

Cat Caught Staring at Guest All Night Long!

Iñgio Marc, a 27-year-old Parisian, was visiting friends in Manhattan when he was kept awake by their cat, Peach. Peach kept staring at Marc from her perch on an inflatable bed next to his, and she even took pictures of him throughout the night.

Marc was initially startled by Peach's constant vigilance, but he soon found it amusing. He shared pictures of Peach's nighttime antics on TikTok, and they quickly went viral.

TikTok users loved Peach's surveillance skills, calling her "in charge" and "territorial." Marc, a dog person, found Peach charming and affectionate. It's great that Marc and Peach got along! Peach's nighttime antics show that cats are as territorial as dogs and always watchful.

Cat’s Head Stuck in a Can!

A black cat on Long Island, New York, got its head stuck in a can, but a kind-hearted rescuer came to the rescue!

John Debacker, vice president of Long Island Cat Kitten Solution (LICKS), was called to the scene after someone spotted the trapped cat. When he arrived, he saw the cat lying on the driveway with its head stuck in a can.

Luckily, the cat was calm and didn't fight back when John tried to help. He was able to trap the cat with a net and remove the can from its head.

John quickly realized that the cat was feral, so he took it to the rescue center to get it checked out, neutered, and released back into its feral cat colony.

We're so glad that this cat got the help it needed! Thanks to John and LICKS, this little kitty is now safe and sound.
