Sergey Sergej, the owner of the cat, often finds himself explaining to bewildered onlookers that he did not paint the feline green. According to Sergej, he discovered the kitten already sporting this vibrant hue.
Veterinarians have acknowledged that the green fur is, indeed, natural for this cat.

However, the exact cause behind this extraordinary case of green remains a mystery. Fortunately, apart from its unconventional color, the kitten is perfectly healthy. Several security guards in Manila, Philippines have unofficially adopted stray cats to keep them company during their 12-hour shifts. One of these lucky cats is Conan, a six-month-old stray who joined the security team at the Worldwide Corporate Center.
