Hero Cat Saves Family From House Fire.

A brave little cat named Prince in Maryland saved his family from a house fire, but sadly, his heroic act came at a great cost. Here's what happened...

Prince woke up his family in the middle of the night by knocking on their door, alerting them to the fire that had started on the second floor.

The family was trapped, but thanks to Prince's quick thinking, they were able to escape through a ladder placed by a resident in the basement.

Sadly, as they were making their way out, Prince got spooked and ran back into the burning building. He was later found dead from smoke inhalation.

His owner said, "If it weren't for Prince waking me up, we would all be dead. He truly saved our lives, and I believe he is our angel."

The local fire department has hailed Prince as a hero, and we're celebrating his bravery and selflessness.
