RESCUE AND ADOPTION
Kitten Rescued by Firefighters in Burning House
In East Haddam, Connecticut, a late November fire endangered a family and their kitten, Soot.
The East Haddam Fire Department brought hope. They bravely entered the fire to save lives and rescue pets. They found Soot and acted quickly, providing oxygen and performing a gentle heart-lung massage.
Despite being injured, Soot regained consciousness and received excellent care at a vet clinic.
He miraculously healed and now celebrates a joyous homecoming this Christmas, surrounded by family and supported by firefighter heroes.

Grumpy Cat Appears to Plot Revenge in Hilarious Reaction to Ear Medication
A cat named Katsu in San Diego went viral on TikTok for his hilarious reaction to getting ear medication.
His grumpy expression and sleepy eyes made it seem like he was plotting revenge against his owners.
Katsu's owner said he took him to the vet for ear mites and was prescribed ointment and oil.
The oil spread to his fur and he needed a bath, which didn't make him happy either.
Despite his grumpy look, his owner said he wasn't actually annoyed by the medication and was just sleepy.
